These treats are also healthy for your horse and may have them hinting that they want another. A special treat after grooming, shoeing, a long ride and after good behavior are a great reward for your hose.

Oats, Molasses and CBD Snacks
These simple snacks are sweet, delicious and may have your horse begging for a few more. It includes some of their favorite ingredients and a little CBD too.
1 tablespoon Pet Health CBD Organic Olive Oil tincture
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 ½ cups oats
1 cup molasses
Start by preheating your oven to 300 degrees.
Grate the apple and carrot, making sure to not grate any of the apple core. Combine the rest of the ingredients into a bowl and fold in your carrot and apple. Mix all of the ingredients well.
Spoon by tablespoon onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake for 50 minutes or until the treats look golden brown.
Cool completely before giving these treats to your horse.
No Bake Peppermint CBD Treats
Not all horse treats need to be baked. Some no bake recipes are just as tasty to horses as baked recipes. These CBD treats for horses couldn’t be simpler to make.
2 tablespoon Pet Health CBD Organic Olive Oil tincture
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup bottled water
4 tablespoons molasses
Simply mix all of the ingredients except for the peppermints in a bowl. Allow the mixture to sit for about 30 minutes so the flavors can marry. Divide the mixture into 10 parts. Roll each part into a ball. Press 1 peppermint into the center of each ball.
Refrigerate uncovered for at least 2 hours so that the treats can firm up.
The CBD Horse Ice Cream Cone
This recipe doesn’t actually contain ice cream, but the finished product looks like a gourmet ice cream cone. It’s a fun way to give your horse a fun treat that is fun for them to eat too.
6 sugar cones
1 tablespoon Pet Health CBD Organic Olive Oil Tincture
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups of flour
½ cup applesauce
1 cup sweet feed (you can substitute oats if you wish)
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the CBD tincture, cinnamon, flour, molasses, applesauce and sweet feed in a bowl. It will be very sticky. Scoop one-sixth of the “dough” into each of the 5 cones. Dip each cone into the sprinkles. Bake for 10 minutes.
When the cones come out of the oven, push one peppermint into the top of the dough.
Make sure they are completely cooled before you give one to your horse.
